Engage Garage Doors And Gates is a family owned and operated, local gate and garage door specialist, based in Emu Heights. We service areas including Penrith, Nepean valley, Richmond, Windsor, Katoomba, Springwood and Blue Mountains.
Engage was established in 2021 by Jay, who needed to fulfill a deep seeded desire to take what he had mastered over his career and create a dedicated small business who could provide customers with a service which is un-able to be matched by larger competition.

Our priority is customer satisfaction and quality workmanship, no doubt about it! What makes us different from other larger companies is that you are not just a name to a range of different employees, who lets be honest, rarely put in the level of effort as someone invested in the business.
Because of our small size, expert knowledge and personalized service we are able to complete projects at very reasonable rates, with peak level of workmanship with zero mistakes and disappointment!

We don’t have salesmen, receptionists, or run of the mill subbies. The process starts and ends with the same person with an open line of communication throughout. I founded Engage in 2021 after 12 years in the garage door and gate industry. I’m naturally talented and have an immense desire to learn and master crafts, and can provide levels of skill rarely seen in the industry. From custom fabrication, design, installation and repair, as written by Shakespare “A Jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one”. As an example, all images on this website I have installed, I fabricated and customized the ute in the picture above, as well as designing and developing this very website!
You will meet me when opting for a garage door Installation, repair or service. Excellent, personalized customer service is top priority. Expect your local garage door and gate specialist to be a polite young man with a great attitude.
Libby Loveridge
Administration
Rarely seen or heard, Libby is instrumental behind the scenes. Taking care of many of the administration tasks to run a successful business. Without her guidance and support, the path forward for Engage Garage Doors And Gates would be much more difficult.
James Sheen

A close friend of Jay’s, and a respected Garage Door business owner himself, Jay and James work closely together to grow their businesses along side each other, bounce ideas and complete projects to the highest standard. James is a highly skilled, and very much trusted garage door technician, installer and garage door specialist with over 15 years experience.
You may see James working along side Jay on larger installations, or completing garage door projects and installations when the work flow reaches high tide. Together Jay and James present close to 30 years of experience, on your site, to complete your job!
Hugo (Boss)
uTE SECURITY
Hugo is an absolute menace. But he’s adorable and friendly! Also Known as ‘Huges’, he loves nothing more than company… and hanging his head out of the window as we drive down the motor way. Hugo spends much of his time in the ute with Jay when out providing measure and quotes, repairs or services.
If your a dog person, feel free to give him a pat. He is well natured 10yo Cavalier, he’s well behaved and loves the attention.
